Lenovo has long been able to speak the language of business and enterprise users when it comes to technology leveraging the ThinkPad notebook PC series it acquired from IBM all those years ago. This week at IFA 2014 Lenovo beefed up their business offerings with the second edition of the ThinkPad Helix, a 11.6 inch 2-in-1 Ultrabook that the company says will perform admirably in the board room with top of the line hardware that includes the latest Intel Core M processor.
The ThinkPad Helix is designed to be as thin and light as possible, weighing in at just over 0.8kg, and incorporates the five usage modes that we have seen before from Lenovo; Tablet, Stand, Tent, Laptop and Desktop. One feature that we really like is that you can remove the tablet and flip it around 180 degrees for some really good viewing options. The Helix also designed to make it as easy as possible for real productivity with the ability to take notes, sketch and draw with its digitizer pen.

The main body which includes the devices’ 11.6 inch, 1080p FHD display is detachable for standard Tablet mode and cam interact with either the Lenovo Ultrabook Keyboard which adds 8 hours of battery life, or the Ultrabook Pro Keyboard which will give you 12 hours. The Tablet portion is covered with Gorilla Glass and features and aluminum band around the edge for added durability and grip friendly finish so it feels good in the hand.
